Raveis Kole is an eclectic, acoustic based Americana/Folk/Singer Songwriter duo that blends Southern California freedom, Middle Eastern mystery, European panache, and a gypsy's adventurous spirit, while featuring caramel smooth vocals, percussive acoustic guitar rhythms, and jazz guitar fingerstyle counterpoint and bass inspired grooves. Their songs draw you in with armor piercing lyrics that float like a butterfly and sting like a bee!
From their home in Bellingham Washington, Laurie Raveis and Dennis Kole have performed all over the US as well as in the UK and Canada, and are Billboard charting artists who have opened for Cory Henry, the Edgar Winter Band, and the Wailers. Their recent album debuted on Billboard Heatseekers Chart at #11, is currently spinning on 170+ radio stations across 13 countries and 5 continents, and has been nominated for 3 Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

Putting words to rhythm with Dennis Kole and Laurie Raveis
The Tumbleweed Music Festival is a free, open-air, community acoustic music festival sponsored by the Three Rivers Folklife Society, a small, 501(c)(3) community arts orgaization here in the Tri-Cities, which is traditionally held on Labor Day weekend each year. The 2023 festival will be our 27th annual! We feature many kinds of acoustic music (primarily folk, blues, bluegrass, etc.) but are welcoming to all types of music and dance performances.
We are playing April 2 - Sunday at 12:30pm. Festival runs MARCH 31 – APRIL 2, 2023. The Tucson Folk Festival is a free and accessible festival celebrating Americana and Folk Music traditions and all the wonderful variations, including bluegrass, blues, country, jazz, Celtic, zydeco, and various styles of Latin and Mexican music! This annual family-friendly festival is held in some of the most historic sections of Tucson.

The Theme for the 2022 Tumbleweed Music Festival is "Dear Friends!"
